Voices Of Hope
Voices of Hope brought many people to Eastview High School to raise money and awareness for the Angel Foundation in support for cancer victims. Throughout the day The contestants that sang, each had a fee of ten dollars, which all went to the Angel Foundation. Also, people who came and watched were charged a ticket fee, and donations were also taken. The goal of Eastview High school, was to raise a total of 25,000 dollars. This goal is unknown, but there is much evidence shown that a lot of money was raised. The founders of the whole idea for Voices of Hope was from the woman's choir, at Eastview, called Woman's Choral. At least one of the girls in that choir has a mother who has cancer and life has not exactly been easy since. The money that goes to the Angel Foundation helps people with cancer be able to pay for things like treatment, food, or event bills. One thing is for sure, the voices heard at Voices of Hope were all singing strongly and for a purpose. That purpose was to help cancer victims.
"Voices of hope was such a success!" Exclaimed Hannah, a senior at Eastview High school, who is a part of the women's choral. She was so excited to see all of the people who participated in this event that will help so many people. " I really think that this event was a really fun and great way to help a lot of people".
Voices such as Hanna's, Maddy Koefedd's, Kelsey Anderson's, and many many others were heard all day and night at this event. It went way into the night, and ended with a great band named Ferris. They were and all boys band that ended up being a huge hit. The whole event turned out amazingly and is sure to help many many people.
